Serving with Joy .
“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”
Jackie Robinson
I’ve always had a heart for serving others.
For me, giving back isn’t about recognition. It’s about impact.
I believe deeply in the power of service, and that belief extends into my business, where giving back is intentionally woven into what I do. I love knowing that my time, my talents, my resources, or even a small act of kindness can make someone feel seen, supported, and hopeful. Serving gives me a sense of purpose, but it also brings me tremendous JOY.
There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing you showed up for someone when they needed it most, and knowing that, in some small way, you helped make their world a little better.
In 2015, I founded the
Joseph & Vera Douglas Family Foundation
to provide support to communities internationally. JVDFF launched initially focusing on communities in central Maryland and Jamaica.
In 2027, JVDFF will expand its borders to support communities in Kenya.
